Gordonston

Gordonston on the eastside of downtown is a small neighborhood, adjacent to the Victorian District. Initially developed in the 1920's by the brother of Juliette Gordon Low, the founder of the Girl Scouts, from their family farm. It is bordered by Skidaway Road, Gwinnett Street and Pennsylvania Avenue. It is often referred to it as a miniature Ardsley Park. Throughout this area you will find moss draped tree-lined streets filled with a variety of older homes on large lots with front and back yards. Home styles include cottages, bungalows and large mansions.
