Vernonburg
Vernonburg located off of White Bluff Road on Savannah's Southside is a small community separate from Savannah since 1742 and chartered as a township in 1866. Originally part of the "Bonnie Doon" plantation owned by the Rockwell Family; Vernonburg has been settled since the mid-eighteenth century as a suburb development type community.
