Vernonburg was established in 1742 and consists of less than 200 homes. Thunderbolt backs up to the Wilmington River and has a population of approximately 2000. Many single family and condominium homes are available in the well-established Thunderbolt community. The Southside of Savannah offers country-style, suburban living in a convenient location. Most homes are less than 10 minutes from I-95. Entertainment and quick escapes are a breeze from the Southside. The Savannah Hilton Head Airport is a 15-minute commute and historic downtown Savannah is a 20-minute jaunt.
